The Setup That Actually Works

My mate Rob has a Steam Deck he barely touches because, in his words, "playing on a tiny screen on the sofa feels a bit sad." Fair enough, honestly. This JSAUX dock is exactly the sort of thing that fixes that without costing a fortune.

At under £19, you're getting 4K output at up to 120Hz, a couple of USB-A ports, and enough to turn your handheld into something resembling a proper living room console. Plug it into the telly, grab a controller, and suddenly the Steam Deck makes a lot more sense for a lot more people.

What You're Actually Getting

The 5-in-1 setup covers the basics well: HDMI 2.1 for that 4K@120Hz promise, USB-A ports for peripherals, and USB-C passthrough charging so the deck doesn't die mid-session. Build quality feels solid for the price, not premium, but not flimsy either. It's not going to rattle apart after a month.

It also works with the ASUS ROG Ally X, which is a nice bonus if you've gone that route instead.

Honestly, my one reservation: 4K@120Hz sounds brilliant, but you'll need a telly and the game to cooperate. Plenty of Steam titles cap out well below that. Still, 4K@60Hz is genuinely nice for the right games.

Who This Is For

If you've got a Steam Deck and a decent telly, this is a no-brainer at this price. If you're expecting a thunderbolt-style hub with ethernet and SD card slots, look elsewhere. But for a clean, simple dock that does what it says? Spot on.
