What you're actually getting

Pepsi Max Cherry is one of those drinks that splits opinion pretty cleanly. Some people find the cherry flavour a bit artificial, a bit sweet, almost like cola-flavoured lip balm. Fair enough. But if you're already a fan, you know it hits differently to regular Max. There's a bit more depth, a slight tartness that makes it feel less one-note.

A mate of mine keeps a case of these in his garage fridge, the kind of thing you grab after mowing the lawn on a warm afternoon. That's exactly the use case here: not a fancy treat, just a solid, reliable fizzy drink you want cold and on hand.

Who this is actually for

Honestly, this is a bulk buy for people who already drink Pepsi Max Cherry regularly. If you've never tried it, buying 24 cans feels like a commitment. Grab a single can first, figure out if the cherry thing works for you.

For regular drinkers though, the maths makes sense. Individual cans at a corner shop will cost you 90p to £1.20 each. Getting them in a case like this brings that down considerably per can.

One reservation: the cans are 330ml, not the bigger 500ml format some people prefer. Fine for most, but worth knowing if you're used to the larger size.

The sugar-free angle

No sugar, obviously, which matters if you're watching your intake. The sweetener blend Pepsi uses here is not bad at all, less of that lingering artificial aftertaste than some diet drinks. Not perfect, but spot on for everyday drinking.
