What you're actually getting

Right, so this is a 904g tub containing 113 of those tiny individually-wrapped Toblerone triangles. Not the big bar you'd snap chunks off on the sofa. These are the small ones, the size you'd nick from a hotel minibar or find in a Christmas selection box. Each one is maybe two bites, tops.

The tub itself is a proper chunky thing. Leave it on a desk at work and it will not survive the week. That's not a complaint, just a warning.

Who this actually suits

Honestly, this is brilliant for a few specific situations:

  • Office kitchens, where things disappear fast anyway
  • Stocking fillers or party bags without the faff
  • People who need portion control enforced by packaging (the wrapper slows you down, slightly)

For solo snacking at home, a regular Toblerone bar is better value and more satisfying. There's something about breaking off a proper triangle that the miniature version just doesn't replicate.

The Subscribe & Save angle

The price only gets properly interesting if you use Subscribe & Save, which brings it down to around £11.74. You can cancel after the first delivery, so the faff is minimal. Without that, you're paying more for what is, at the end of the day, a lot of very small chocolate. The community heat on HotUKDeals (895 degrees at time of writing) suggests people reckon it's worth it, and I'd agree, but only at the Subscribe price.
