What you're actually getting
Right, so pocket springs plus gel memory foam is the combination that mattress brands usually charge you proper money for. The springs handle the support and airflow underneath, the gel foam takes the edge off pressure points on top. Vasagle is not a household name here, but the construction is solid enough on paper, and at this price for a single, the barrier to giving it a go is pretty low.
Personally, I'd say this sort of hybrid setup suits side sleepers most. The foam moulds around your shoulder and hip while the springs stop you sinking like a stone. Back sleepers usually get on fine too. Stomach sleepers, honestly, might want something firmer.
The price question
No listed RRP here, so I can't tell you it's 40% off something. What I can tell you is that a decent hybrid mattress from a recognised brand typically starts around £200 for a single. Getting the same basic construction for £68 is not half bad, mate, as long as your expectations are calibrated. You're not buying a Simba.
The king at £80.55 is the more interesting buy if you need the size. That's barely more than the single, which is a bit odd but absolutely worth jumping on if it suits you.
One reservation
No returns policy detail visible at a glance, and mattresses are notoriously awkward to return under distance selling rules once opened. Check that before you click buy. Also worth noting the community heat is high, which usually means stock moves fast. If you're on the fence, the fence might make the decision for you.
