Who actually needs this
Look, Walkers aren't a discovery. You already know what they taste like. The question is purely whether the price is decent enough to bother, and at £3.15 for 20 bags (or £2.97 if you set up a Subscribe & Save), the answer is yes, pretty clearly.
That works out at roughly 15p a bag. Your local corner shop is charging close to 80p for a single packet. The maths doesn't need a spreadsheet.
This is specifically useful if you're doing packed lunches regularly. I remember buying these individually at a Tesco Express near work for ages before someone pointed out the multipack situation online. Felt a bit daft, honestly.
What's in the variety box
The classic variety means you're getting the usual mix: Ready Salted, Cheese and Onion, Salt and Vinegar. Nothing exotic. No prawn cocktail wild cards. If you've got picky kids, that's a feature not a problem. If you're after something more interesting, this box is not for you.
One reservation: the 25g bags are proper small. Fine for a lunchbox, a bit stingy if you're snacking seriously.
The Subscribe & Save angle
The S&S price drops it to £2.97, which over a few months adds up. Worth doing if you're certain you'll go through them. Easy enough to cancel if you forget you signed up, though, so low risk.
Nearly a thousand heat points on HotUKDeals says the community agrees this is spot on. Hard to argue.
